In 2024, more than 60 wars were recorded \u2014 a historic record. This marks the return of imperial thinking. The strong once again impose their will on the weak, while international law erodes. Cooperation is giving way to brutal competition.    <\/p>\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2\">Europe and France remain committed to the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity. This is not nostalgia, but the lessons of the Second World War. We know where the logic of force leads.  <\/p>\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2\">The United States is using the economy as a weapon. Trade agreements and tariffs have become instruments of pressure, aimed at weakening and subjugating Europe, forcing it to play by imposed rules. This is unacceptable. Economic coercion is no different from military coercion.   <\/p>\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2\">We must defend ourselves and we have the means to do so. Europeans are too na\u00efve. We are the only ones who do not protect our markets and companies, while other countries introduce protectionism and subsidize their own economies. We continue to play fair, while our partners \u0434\u0430\u0432\u043d\u043e abandoned the rules of fair competition.   <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2\"><em>This text is not a verbatim transcript.
