It is important to stress that this is not about short-term gains, but about laying the groundwork for energy dominance for decades to come. Alaska is also a key geopolitical asset in the Arctic, where competition among the United States, Russia, and China is set to intensify.    <\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Gulf of Mexico<\/h4>\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2\">Parall\u00e8lement, Washington <a href=\"https:\/\/oilprice.com\/Energy\/Energy-General\/Gulf-of-Mexico-Lease-Sale-Marks-Strongest-Bid-Activity-Since-2017.html\">relance<\/a> les ench\u00e8res pour la location du plateau continental du golfe du Mexique. Sa r\u00e9activation implique des investissements stables, une hausse de l\u2019emploi, le renforcement du potentiel d\u2019exportation des \u00c9tats-Unis et une r\u00e9duction de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 face aux chocs \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques ext\u00e9rieurs.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Blow to OPEC+<\/h4>\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.2\">The United States is already the world\u2019s largest oil producer, and the new policy further consolidates this leadership.
